zenteki ni ibitsu na koukatsu – The Other Day, I Met a Bear
At ComPeung, I will be further developing an ongoing project “zenteki ni ibitsu na koukatsu – The Other Day, I Met a Bear”.
The project “zenteki ni ibitsu na koukatsu” is a series that focuses on unexpected conversions by a specific computer program, the perception gap that occurs between people, and deconstruction of images.
This version is based on the Japanese children’s song “森のくまさん(The Other Day, I Met a Bear)” .

■Right side movie (Made in Japan)
I divided the children’s song into 37 phrases.
And then, I gathered videos from 37 people. The videos are shot on the basis of each divided phrases.
like this ↓
Dividing into 37 phrases.
ある日(The other day) / 森の中(In the forest) / くまさんに(A bear)/ 出会った(I met )/ ….
I asked 37 people like this ↓
Person 1 “ Please give me a short video. The theme is 「The Other Day」”.
Person 2 “ Please give me a short video. The theme is 「In the forest」”.
Person 3 “ Please give me a short video. The theme is 「A bear」”.

Person 37
I didn’t inform the people about the song’s title at this time. So these videos are not necessarily related to the original children’s song.
I connected these videos clips, and made them into one movie (Right side).
■Left side movie
I interpreted the Right side movie in my own way, and I created a new video (Left side).
During my stay in Thailand, I will make a new version of the Left side movie based on the Right side movie.
