Free School
Rebecca Zorach conducted a number of workshops on alternative education projects she has been involved in. Zorach’s research includes the “free school” movement in the U.S. from the 1960s to the present, as well as the magazine AREA Chicago (areachicago.org).
She encouraged the workshop participants to think about what an ideal free school would look like from a Thai point of view. Students from the M.2 class engaged in a project where they were asked to re-design their school in a material way with drawings, sculptures, using available natural material.
