Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.
Marcus Tollius Cicero

My photography is influenced by my deep regard for the planet and the imperative of sustainability, the simple interest or beauty of an image that captures my attention, and the lessons of true photographic masters such as Henri-Cartier-Bresson and Ansel Adams. I choose both abstract and literal images, depending on their message and mood. I photograph intentionally and exclusively with a simple pocket camera which I push to its maximum. And I never alter an image in any way once it’s shot. My work has few intentions except to contribute a moment of beauty and perhaps a bit of consciousness. Embracing an image initially and then inviting others to “inhale” that image is what my work is about.
