I came to Compeung with the idea of working with a specific group on a series of music based interactions.
The first part of the residency was spent on sourcing materials, getting to know the area, building instruments, familiarizing myself with the technical capabilities of the robotics and deciding which group in the area I was going work with.
I ended up doing a series of instrument building robotic workshops at the main temple on the hill overlooking Doi Saket. The workshops were attended by various classes of young Buddhist monks.
