In pursuit of harmonizing dissonances between internal and external reality,\u00a0my works are inspired by philosophy, science and mythology that relate\u00a0with my personal history, depicted through the theme of the imaginative. I\u00a0create chimaeras and use them as visual language; bearing in mind that\u00a0one becomes through synthesizing selected parts of one\u2019s experiences. I am very much interested in finding patterns; the parallelisms of how a cell\u00a0lives as to how our biological systems in our bodies work, how animals\u00a0interact in parallel with human social dynamics, up to how an individual\u2019s\u00a0consciousness parallels how the earth behaves through the cosmic space\u00a0and beyond. I am in awe of the poetry of the interactions of both the biotic\u00a0and abiotic, of the spiritual and the physical, and of the grand mythologies\u00a0that we are told to be fiction but in moments of contemplation, we realize\u00a0that at some level, our reality is also just another myth created by our own\u00a0perception inevitably informed by one\u2019s own field of experience.<\/p>\n
I aim to mediate these gaps through finding similarities and differences,\u00a0and integrate select parts to create works that would exemplify potential\u00a0and transgress select limitations of social constructs. My works, however\u00a0alien, show alternative possibilities of understanding facets of the world\u00a0through the synthesis of different ideas into a whole.<\/p>\n
